A calm river bends through a rocky and sandy landscape under a clear blue sky.

                                                         Marina & Beach Rules

  1. Marina access is limited to homeowners and/or associate members in good standing.
  2. Gate cards will be issued only to individuals listed on the deed of trust with the Mohave County Assessor’s Office and who provide matching identification. Gate cards are nontransferable, and lending a gate card to anyone may result in suspension of privileges.
  3. All vehicles and watercraft entering the marina must be licensed and currently registered to the homeowner and/or associate member. Current stickers must be clearly displayed on the driver’s side front or rear window of the vehicle and the      port side of the watercraft. Only vehicles with current stickers may park in the North beach parking area. Parking is limited to member vehicles; guests must park outside the marina.
  4. Trailers are not permitted.
  5. Members and/or associates may purchase one guest launch pass per day for      $25.00 at the clubhouse office during regular business hours. Guests must provide current boat registration in their name with matching identification. Members must remain with their guests at all times while in the marina. WVCA allows a maximum of 20 guest launches per day. Multiple watercrafts on the same trailer pay one $25.00 fee per day.
  6. Personal watercraft must use the designated launch ramp and may not be launched or retrieved from beach areas or the boat ramp.
  7. Animals are not permitted in the marina, beach, or BBQ/picnic areas, except when going directly between a vehicle and watercraft.
  8. Glass of any kind is prohibited in the marina and beach areas for everyone’s safety.
  9. To comply with EPA and ADEQ fuel-spill regulations, refueling or removing a drain plug from any watercraft is prohibited on the ramp, in the marina, or in the beach area.
  10. Boat slips are available only to members and/or associates. All boats using a slip must display a current WVCA decal. The fee is $20.00 per day, payable in advance. To make a reservation, call 928-768-6555.
  11. Anchors may not be dropped in the marina.
  12. Anyone in the marina or beach areas may be asked by marina caretakers or board members to show a WVCA gate card and proof of membership. Minors and guests must be accompanied by an adult member or associate member. Only WVCA staff vehicles are permitted on beach areas.
  13. Palapas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Swimming is prohibited in areas used by boats, jet skis, or other watercraft, including the boat dock area and marina entrance to the river. No lifeguard is on duty; swim at your own risk.
  14. All watercraft operators must comply with Coast Guard regulations. The marina speed limit is 5 MPH on land, and the water area is a no-wake zone.
  15. Skiing is prohibited within 50 feet of the marina entrance.
  16. Be considerate of others by placing trash in the provided bins, which are for marina and beach use only and may not be used for residential trash. Members using the picnic area must clean up afterward, including cigarette butts, decorations, and BBQ items. To reserve the picnic area, call 928-768-6555.
  17. The marina and beach close at 10:00 p.m. All cabanas, shade structures, and chairs must be removed from beach areas at the end of each day.
  18. Gas BBQs are permitted in the marina and beach areas, but fires      are prohibited.
  19. Fishing is not permitted in the marina from beach areas or docks.
  20. The launch ramp is for loading and unloading only. Parking is prohibited at all times except in emergencies.
  21. If any member or guest is seen causing harm to themselves or others, contact law enforcement immediately.
  22. The board may impose disciplinary action for rule violations, including suspension of beach and marina privileges, fines up to $500, and payment for personal or property damage.
